There’s nothing better than cooking up some veggie burgers on the grill. There’s really no limit to the diversity of ingredients and flavors you can add to them. Here’s one of my favorite recipes that I make very often. Top with veggies, vegan cheese, tofu, whatever you desire.

@vegancook101 I have a great vegan homeade protein bar recipe. They always sell fast!
There’s a new Vegan Cookie recipe book that’s about to come out…in fact, i think it might already be on the shelves.
It’s called “Vegan Cookies Invade Your Cookie Jar”. The authors are pretty well-known in the Vegan recipe world.

Happy Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients:
2 cups unbleached flour
2 tsps baking powder
1/2 tsp.salt
cinnamon to taste (optional)
vegan chocolate or carob chips – put in as many as you like
1 cup raw sugar (turbinado #1, sucanat works too but sucks up a lot of the moisture)
1/2 cup canola or vegetable oil
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup water
Directions:
VERY IMPORTANT-make sure all ingredients are at room temperature. It will work if they’re not at room temp but it works MUCH better if they are. Also while your oven is pre-heating put the cookie sheets you are going to use on top of the oven so they get preheated as well. Preheat oven to 350.
In a large bowl mix flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon (if you choose). Add chips. Make a well in the center and set aside.
In a medium size bowl mix vegan sugar and oil. Mix it well. Add the vanilla and then add the water. Mix it well. Add the wet to the well in the dry. Mix it well but be careful not to overwork it. Add more chips if you need to. Spoon onto ungreased cookie sheets. Put them in the oven. Bake for 5 minutes and then flip and rotate the sheets.(top to bottom, and 180 degree rotation) Bake another 4 minutes and check them.
The cookies are done when they seem a little bit softer then you want them to be. They will harden up some as they cool. I usually go in two minute increments from here untill they get to where I like them.
Take them out when they are done and move them to wire cooling racks. If they split or come apart when you try to remove them let them sit on the pan for 2 minutes before transferring them to the racks.
These cookies have come a long way, lots of time and tasting spent on getting them to where they are now. Vegans and non vegans LOVE them. In the words of my 6 year old son-Mom, you’re the greatest because you know how to make the best cookies. Enjoy and let me know if you have questions. Sweet travels.
Serves: almost two dozen

YUMMY Vegan Brownies
Ingredients:
2 cups flour (I use enriched and whole wheat)
1 cup water
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup baking cocoa
1/2 cup oil – preferably vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
1/2 cup vegan chocolate chips (optional)
Directions:
1. Boil water and 1/2 cup of the flour over low heat, stirring constantly, until it reaches the consistency of a thin gluey paste. Remove from heat and let cool completely.
2. Mix vegan sugar, salt, vanilla, cocoa and oil. Then add the rest flour-water mixture. Mix well.
3. Add the remaining 1 1/2 cups of flour, baking powder and the nuts or chocolate chips, if you choose to add those.
4. Spread mixture into a greased 11 x 7 pan. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes, or until a knife can be inserted and come out clean.
This was a really easy, and really tasty recipe. I gave some to my friends and they fell in love with them. They keep asking me to make more. I thought of maybe putting some chocolate frosting on them, but they were perfect without it. Enjoy.
I would go to http://www.fatfreevegan.com and make one of their desserts.
A lot of receipes you can make vegan but they are still very unhealthy. These ones are good and yummy too!

and if you choose to bake these(which you should!) don’t put them in for more than 10-11 minutes, they will be pretty gooey when they come out but let them cool for 5-6 minutes then take them off and then they will have the perfect chewy consistency by they time they fully cool.
also that site has awesome recipes so you might want to check out the other recipes
