I’ve had a lot of people who would like to go Vegan ask me about different substitutes for ingredients. One of the biggest problems they face is simply finding foods that can be eaten and still hold true to vegan values.

Question:
A.Ingredients
60ml (2 ounces) tomato sauce
Olive Oil
Salt
Pepper
2 cups rice
1kg (2 lb) raw spinach
2 medium onions
Directions
1. Chop onions and saute in a sauce pan with olive oil.
2. Slice spinach, add to the frying pan and saute until spinach is soft.
3. Add 2 cups of water in the sauce pan and turn the heat up till water boils.
4. When water boils, turn the heat to low and add the rice and tomato sauce.
5. Cook covered, over a low heat, until the rice is done and the water is absorbed. (Approximately 15 minutes)
B.1 c. milk
4 eggs
1 tbsp. worcestershire sauce
1/4 c. nutritional yeast
1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1 lb. grated cheese (Cheddar, Jack, Swiss)
4 c. cooked brown rice
10 oz. chopped spinach, steamed
1/2 to 1 c. seeds and nuts
Blend liquids. Stir in remaining ingredients except seeds and nuts. Pour into oiled casserole. Top with seeds and nuts. Bake at 375 degrees for 35 minutes.
just cook the rice, put it in the middle of the plate and on the side have a salad made of only raw spinach
and then with the rice add just a slpash of soy sauce
