I’ve had a lot of people who would like to go Vegan ask me about different substitutes for ingredients. One of the biggest problems they face is simply finding foods that can be eaten and still hold true to vegan values.
Here’s a great resource I found that you may want to check out

Question:
Arbonne is a 30 year old company sold through independent consultants that has never had animal product or by-products or animal testing. Remember too that just because it says “not tested on animals” does not meant that it does not contain animal products! The product must be vegan for that to be the case. Arbonne is also has the “leaping bunny” certificate which goes goes further than being vegan, it means that none of our supplier uses any animal products either.

I hope this helps!

I recommend Mychelle Dermaceuticals products. http://www.mychelle.com Although I’ve only tried a couple of their products, those I have tried are great (only the $ thing keeps me from trying more!)
All the products are free of the phthalates and parabens and from their website: “MyChelle products are always cruelty-free and never tested on animals. 100% vegetarian, most products are vegan.”

Lush is good
And I don’t know how you spell Natrokosmetic or whatever it is.
Just look for the PETA / BUAV approval label on the packet and read the label to check for animal products. And if you can’t read, let alone understand any of the super-long ingredient names and numbers, the chemicals probably aren’t going to do your skin any favours
Do you have Lush stores in your area? If not, you can order their products online. All of their stuff is made of natural, organic ingredients without any animal testing and are really fantastic products. I especially love their dry shampoos, shower gels and hand lotion. You can buy stuff here: http://www.lush.ca/shop/english?sc=1 and read about their no-animal testing policy here: http://www.lush.ca/shop/about-us/no-animal-testing/
