This is a delicious and unique flavored vegan soup that has origins in North Africa and the Northeast African Highlands section. It is a bit more trouble than my favorite “dump it all in one pot and cook”, soups, but well worth it!

Question:
Mono/di-glycerides can be vegan or animal based. The only way to know for sure would be to contact the manufacturer of the pie in question.
I personally wouldn’t recommend eating any store bought pie though. I’ve never found one that actually tastes good (i.e. not ridiculously sweet to the point where you can’t taste any actual fruit), and it’s really so simple (but maybe time consuming depending on the type of pie) to make your own.
I’m a vegetarian and not a vegan so I’m not being a stickler, I’m just helping you because it seems you’re pretty strict with yourself and want help. I’d look to see if the crust has butter in it if I were you because butter is non-vegan. I dont’ know about the glycerides though, sorry.
