Here’s another delicious Vegan recipe for everyone to try. You can substitute pancakes or tortillas depending on your taste. I’ve made this one a few times and it’s an amazing array of flavors.

I had previously ordered and enjoyed the Split Pea with Barley by Dr. McD. I ordered this one this time because I saw it was lighter in sodium.
It cooked up fine in two minutes of steeping in the hot water. It had a nice texture and flavor, but it was thinner than the Split Pea with Barley, which is why I liked the other one better.
This cup of soup has 200 calories , 1 gram of fat, 13 grams of protein, 9 grams of fiber, and 360 mg of sodium. It boasts 30% of recommended daily value of Vit A and 12% of iron. The entire cup is considered one serving (which I specify as some McD cup products specify two servings per container.) For those who have issues with gluten, this has NO GLUTEN.
For those who want a more healthful option in convenience foods/instant soups, this is a nice choice. Solid pea flavor, easy to fix, no animal products. A nice little soup. (But I do give a higher thumbs up to the one with barley).

Very tasty and nutritious, especially if soup is left to thicken after adding boiling water. Great to have in a pinch. No guilt because it’s got 0 fat but lots of good stuff.

I only go for the Light Sodium flavors as I think the others have too much salt. This one is delicious – thick and tasty. Just the right amount for me for one serving.

I really enjoy this soup. It’s just the right consistency, not too salty or spicy, just real comfort food. It also dissolves better than the grocery store brands when you add the hot water. Just stir a few times after you add the water, while letting it “sit”. I appreciate the fact that there is no msg or artificial additives.
