Question:
I have tried regular vegetarianism and just cutting out meat made my blood sugar drop dramatically. It was at 220-300. It dropped to 200 or below. It turns out that meat causes insulin resistance… Now, I need to go low carb too to get it lower. Anyone know any good recipes?

  1. I guess you’re a type 2 (I am type 1) …
Just eat looooooots of vegetables. Raw, cooked, … doesnt matter. There are so many different kinds!
I like Italian/mediteranean veggies, but there are so many … I’ll never get enough! ^^

Also SALDADS should be the right thing: http://www.vegan-food.net/category/salad/

The only “bad” thing is that you have to eat a lot more salad to get full up …

Btw: Potatoes (or also rice) have less carbs than pasta!

  2. A google search of low carb vegan recipes turned up a lot. Here’s one… http://www.marksdailyapple.com/all-together-now/
