Question:
Like not eating meat and stuff? I really want to, but how do I start? Also, is the “all-cotton-clothing wardrobe” part o being vegan? Do you have any tips?

  1. It depends on what you like to eat. You can get all the protein you need from a variety of plants, but if you hate beans or other high protein plants you can have some difficulty. I always find it easier to phase the good stuff in and the bad stuff out. It seems to be less of a shock and a more practical way to make a long term change.

    There a millions of cookbooks and online resources, but learning to like the cooking styles of countries like Turkey, Greece, and India can really help.

  2. really really hard plus if you go in to it without proper research behind you can be quite dangerous as well. remember that dietary supplements are a very sketchy way of getting your lost minerals and vitamins in so u will have to plan your meals quite strictly

  3. its not easy, its not hard. it requires a bit of work…no the clothing thing isnt part of being vegan. try being vegetarian 1st, than move on to veganism when youre ready! i recommend a book on it, helped me a lot. Vegan Cookbooks like Veganomicon!

  4. How hard can it be to join a new religion, if that is what you choose to do?

  5. I think its just the fact of getting used to something you never have done or been exposed to. I think you can get used to it somewhat easy but one thought would be who you are around and if them eating pizza and hamburgers would affect you.

  6. VEGAN IS NO MEAT NO DAIRY NO PULTRY NO SEAFOOD NO EGGS NO FUR NO COTTON AND NO LEATHER, ECT. AND NO IT’S REALLY HARD. VEGITARIAN IS EITHER NO RED MEAT OR NO MEAT, BUT STILL PULTRY MILK EGGS ECT.

    VEGAN IS A LIFE CHOICE, IF YOU’RE GOING TO DO IT YOU NEED TO BE DEDICATED AND MAKE SURE WITH YOUR DOCTOR THAT YOUR BODY IS GOING TO BE ABLE TO TAKE IT.

    sorry i didn’t realise that my caps lock was on.

  7. noits very hard its a long proses

  8. Being a vegan takes dedication and sacrifice. You can not use any product that contains anything from an animal, not just food. I am a veggie who tried to go full vegan but proved to be too hard for me but have loads of respect for the stronger people who do. I believe it to be the right way all but the limitations are just too much for me but I do what I can.
    The only tip would be to keep your reasons in sight before you buy, wear or eat something. Once you make it a habit and “they” say that takes 30 days of repetition to do, than it will become easier and simply a way of life and the hard work part will start to fade but eating out will basically come to a halt and you really need to know exactly the origin of all materials, soaps, etc. I have a pocket book of animal free and non animal tested products I got from peta. It was free just visit their site.

  9. you should ask your doctor for any tips so you dont end up getting rid of any of the nutrients your body needs on a daily basis.

    hope that helps!

  10. if your going straight from normal eating habits it will be very difficult. im a vegetarian not a vegan so itd be even moreso for you. if everyone you live with is a vegan itll be easier. the hardest part is when your at other peoples houses and they dont know your vegan or if they already prepared food

  11. Yes, it’s very easy. You can do it overnight. Fellow vegans will love your use of leather in jackets instead of in your stomach.

  12. no, its not easy;

  13. start slow by slowy getting rid of meat from your diet and then you will eventually get there
