Question:
In my pre-vegan days, there was this cafe that served a Vesuvius Cake that had layers of chocolate, fudge, cheesecake and nuts on top with mounds of fudge around the edges of the cake. It was to die for. So now that it’s years later, the cafe has burnt down, and I am vegan, I would love to find a recipe so that I can veganize it and try to make it at home. It has been challenging finding a recipe online and so my hopes are that someone has a Vesuvius Cake recipe that they are willing to share. Even better, if you have a vegan recipe or suggestions on how to veganize your recipe, that would be great. Thanks.

This cake is not of the erupting variety nor does it have any white icing. Thanks though.
