Question:
I read this article today, in which a priest is fighting for his “right” to sacrifice animals for religious reasons. Should this be allowed?

*I submitted this a few moments ago in the Religion & Philosophy category, but I’m not really getting useful answers.
The reason it is illegal now is primarily because the way the animals are killed are considered “animal cruelty” by most standards.
