I used broccoli because it’s one of my favorite vegetables, but this curry can be used on top of any vegetable you’d like. It’s Delicious on rice of course as well. This doesn’t take long to make at all either, so get what are you waiting for? Get cooking!

Question:

Try this pasta recipe, preferably for fusilli or farfalle pasta.
chop up orange peppers, zucchini squash, steamed green beans.
take 4 pressed garlic cloves, a finely chopped jalapeno and one onion sliced thin, add salt and pepper, brown them in olive oil in a wok, then throw in the zucchini and after 5-6 mins the rest of the vegs. then add pine nuts.
when cooked add fresh basil (never chop it, always break the leaves with your hands), stir in the pasta and stir-fry it for 2 min or so and there you go! add fresh olive oil and black pepper on the plate.
and DO NOT FORGET TO ADD SALT TO THE WATER WHEN BOILING THE PASTA!!
Haha @ the title:]
How about this idea…
A fresh spring salad with organic veggies such as orange bell peppers, grape tomatoes, baby carrots, maybe some cooked quinoa for texture, drained canned chickpeas for protein, dried fruits like cranberry or golden raisins for texture and sweetness, toasted sesame seeds, almonds, cashews, or walnuts for added crunch, and make a simple vinaigrette with balsamic vinegar and good extra virgin olive oil. Serve with a side of warm artisanal bread like rye, ciabatta, or rosemary italian bread (again, read labels and make sure it doesn’t have egg, milk products, or honey). Offer some Earth Balance soy margarine as a spread.
Whole wheat angel hair pasta (make sure there’s no egg) with a marinara sauce with assorted sauteed veggies like yellow squash, zucchini, spinach, asparagus, mushrooms, onions, garlic. Sauteed unitl veggies are well-cooked and well seasoned.
For dessert, that is if she still has room, buy some soy or rice icecream (non dairy of course) and oreo cookies. Crush the cookies and top the icecream. Serve in a small bowl with a spoon.

Yes, Falafels!!! Also if you go to a whole foods market or natural foods store, they have tons of stuff there you can get to impress your vegan, but if all of that is too much work, just take them out to a vegetarian restaurant x
So i am dating a vegan…. Is there anything i could make that doesnt taste like crap? http://lowfatveganrecipes.com/so-i-am-da… #vegan

Feed her meat but don’t tell her. Then when she raves about how good it is, tell her HA you just ate meat!
Don’t drive yourself nuts. You can just make a good vegan pasta with tomato sauce and some nice wine…
Play around in the kitchen some other day. She’ll like you more if you are relaxed and happy…
K this is what you do, you give him an orange and a banana, and get yourself an orange and a banana, he starts eating x and you eat the orange, when he is almost done with the second piece of fruit he decides to eat, start deepthroating your banana and enjoy the sex afterwards.
Some extra tips would be to practice, practice, practice.
I’d ask her if she eats cooked veggies or only raw, as not all vegans are the same. If she eats only raw….
LETTUCE SALAD: With lots of veggies added to it (shredded carrots, shredded zucchini, shredded beets, cucumber, avocado, cilantro, parsley, tomato, a couple of different types of lettuce, kidney or garbanzo beans, etc.), and several choices of organic salad dressing. I’d say make it all organic. Serve with some really good organic multi-grain bread and margarine purchased from the health food store.
ZUCCHINI, SQUASH: Combine zucchini with onions, bell peppers, tomatoes, Italian herbs, and organic spaghetti sauce and melt cheese on top. Serve with brown rice with some of the tomato sauce mixed in. Make a side lettuce salad. And if you want to add more (you really don’t need more, though), you could serve her a half of an acorn squash (bake upside down with water in pan, about 1 hour), and when done, add margarine from health food store, and some honey, and a little Spike seasoning.
VEGGIE STIR FRY: This is something most people like and it tastes very good and is easy to fix. (This is the first thing I thought of, but I mentioned the zucchini first since you said you like it so much). Fry in olive oil mixed with Kikkoman teriyaki sauce: carrots, celery, onions, green peppers, mushrooms, broccoli, pea pods, water chestnuts, cashews, zucchini, Chinese cabbage, green beans, sliced yams, and fresh spinach. Make sure all veggies are organic. Put the cover on the pan and cook on medium til vegetables are done but not mushy. While cooking the stir fry, cook some brown rice – I like the Mahatma brand best; and when done, mix into it teriyaki sauce. Serve with a side green salad. For salad dressing I really like Newman’s Own low-fat oriental ginger salad dressing, but I forget the exact name of it.
Other possible options:
VEGETARIAN ENCHILADAS (look up tons of good recipes for this on Internet).
VEGETARIAN BLACK BEAN CHILI (look up recipes on Internet).
SPAGHETTI (organic canned spaghetti sauce, most brands are good; and healthiest is corn spaghetti from health food store).
P.S.! CHEESE: I forgot to mention yesterday when I was writing this to use only soy cheese, as a vegan won’t want any foods taken from any animals! Brand that’s good is “Veggie Slices” and I like their Pepper Jack flavor as the other flavors seem too bland, but beware it has a slight hot taste to it, but not too much. Also don’t use butter as it is also from an animal, use health food store margarine, or cook with olive oil. Make sure all ingredients in everything are organic and have no nasty toxic additives.
<<< is vegan and doesn't eat much salad.
Would either do a homemade pizza with fake cheese or homemade tacos with fake cheese. neither are hard and come boxed, chef boyardee & el paso. Boca makes fake meat that tastes great, and everyone loves pizza/tacos. If you live near a whole foods or native sun, they should have dairy-free cheese.
You can bake a lot of things almost just like normal with only a few substitutions.
For example, zucchini bread – egg replacer/milk substitute/butter alternative
Mashed potatoes – milk substitute/butter alternative
I’ve found the following to be the most appealing to both vegans and non-vegans:
butter alternative: Earth Balance (take note the easier to locate Smart Balance contains milk whey and is not vegan)
milk alternative: Living Harvest brand hemp milk (original for cooking, vanilla for mixing into any drinks or desserts)
egg replacers can be found in either liquid form in jars or in powder form in boxes. personally i’ve only used the powdered kind in baking so I can’t offer you much of an opinion on that besides that it works great.
And yes! make an awesome stir fry. Just make sure any sauce you use is vegan and it’ll be easy and delicious! Rice is great, brown rice is better, and quinoa is awesome if you can properly rinse it. Use a variety of mushrooms to give a chewy texture in place of the meat commonly used or even add tofu if you’d like though its definitely not necessary.
There are also excellent vegan cookies, cakes and ice creams on the market although it would be equally easy to make a vegan dessert yourself such as a fruit pie with a vegan butter free crust.
A friend of mine even runs a vegetarian sushi business! Rice, seaweed and veggies!
Best of luck to you and I hope you find that many vegan meals can be quite satisfying and delicious!
Do not cook. Go with raw. I am serious. Make sure to mix at least 6 to 8 different veggies and make a salad. Use Organic Salad dressing. For desert, mix up some fruits.
Here’s a great place to find vegan recipes, this one has a focus on squash, although you can change that.
