The Stash Tea Company is headquartered in Portland, Oregon. Founded in 1972, the company derives its name from an entertaining aspect of tea folklore. In earlier centuries, tea was a valuable commodity traditionally transported by clipper ship. The ship’s captain often was presented with some of the finest teas for his personal use. This supply was his “stash,” stowed carefully as his “private reserve.” Today, the term still is used to denote anything put away carefully because of its preciousness. Stash Premium Pomegranate Agave Nectar Sticks, 20-Count Sticks (Pack of 6) is made from organic agave nectar and organic pomegranate flavor, a vegan-friendly honey substitute. Simply pop open the ends to stir natural goodness into your beverage. Agave Nectar is a natural sweetener made from the juice of the Agave plant. Wholesome Sweeteners Organic Raw Blue Agave, 44 Ounce Bottle

Question:
I want to make a raw recipe from a cooked food recipe which requires 1 Cup of sugar. How much lucuma powder or agave syrup should I use.
I am looking at vegan recipes which contain sugar, and I don’t want to use sugar. I know that a lot of people are using agave syrup, but I don’t know how to convert sugar amounts to agave syrup amounts — I mean, how does the sweetness compare (I understand about reducing the liquid). I am also interested in lucuma powder (seems to be the new agave), and how to convert recipes using agave syrup to lucuma powder.
Question:
I was sharing a raw-food recipe book with my mom when we found agave in many recipes. My mom does not exactly know what is it, she just knows tequila is made of it.
Can I replace it with honey?
