When you became vegan did you throw away all of your clothes that had leather?

Question:
I want to become vegan in every aspect of my life. I already am in my diet. I was vegetarian and I am allergic to milk, all I had to do was cut out eggs.

I am wondering if you all threw away your leather/suede clothes & shoes. Or if you just vowed not to buy any more items made from animals but kept what you already had?

Also, my car has leather seats. I really can’t get rid of all of these clothes because I cannot afford to buy new ones/new car etc. Am I still considered vegan if I wear leather shoes? Even if I don’t buy any more from this point forward?

Could I become a Vegan right away or…?

Or do I have to do it gradually? I already get to sick to my stomach at the thought of eating meat (or getting close to it) after I started reading Skinny Bitch and saw ( a video) of what really goes on.

My mom doesn’t want me to become a full vegetarian because she thinks I won’t get enough protein since I’m only a 15 year old girl and still growing. I’ve told her that I’ve done my research on this and that I really want to become a vegan, but she stands her ground and won’t let me….
My dad is perfectly fine with this and he is supportive–but my mom isn’t.

Please help.

PLEASE READ FIRST!!!! 50 years after Bella leaves Edward for her first love; James, she returns to Forks. Trying to keep up appearances, Bella enrolls at Forks High, only to be in the same class as Edward, and walking the halls with the rest of the Cullen Clan. Edward can see that shes not part of the vegan lifestyle like himself, and makes a vow to himself, to do everything in his power to save her from James influence. The vow that Edward makes to himself, starts to make him crazy, and he begins to stalk Bella on a daily basis, but his obsession gets the best of him one night. Edward is so crazed by the fact that Bella is hunting humans, that he devises a plan. Knowing what would drive James to extremes, Edward begins to show up at Bellas house. Once, while James was out; and on the phone with Bella, and once, while he was home with Bella, knowing that a fight would soon follow. Who will win the battle? Find out in Crawling Part 2, Well Never Fade Away. Video is in Edward’s POV. Colour Schemes(sorry about some of the clips, CAM version of NM was used.) Red/colour = James&Bella’s Past Grey/Colour = Present Darkend noise = 50 years before hand I didn’t want to colour her eyes red in every scene(takes WAAAY to long), so if her eyes arn’t red, lets just pretend she’s hungry,and some of the red is off a bit, but it was fine before rendering, and I really don’t want to go back and fix it, I’m not waiting 3 hours for it to render again.
