Get your FREE 7-day Vegetarian Meal Plan from: www.KardenasKitchen.com Plus, you’ll discover the 10 foods NOT to eat on a weight loss diet. Hi, I’m Kardena Pauza from www.KardenasKitchen.com Today were going to talk about soaking sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, nuts, flaxseeds and all sorts of good things. I get a lot of questions about how to soak them, but first I want to explain why this is so important. I have these items in my food plans because they are packed full of nutrients. When you soak them, you will get more nutrition benefits from them. Soaking them releases the enzyme inhibitors and they become enzyme active which helps your body absorb and digest the nutrients. This will give your cells about 300% more nutrients which will give you more energy! I use these on a regular basis for breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner and they are very versatile as well. They are packed with healthy oils, fats and lipids that your body needs. Were going to soak the flaxseeds. You cant drain the water off of them, so well pour them into a glass bowl and add water. Each seed soaks for a certain amount of time. You want to add double the amount of water to seeds. The flaxseeds will absorb all of the water, so you will end up with a gel around them which is normal. You need to soak them about 8-12 hours. Once they have been soaked, they are ready to use. You can put a scoop in your smoothies or add them to your breakfast. These are really high in fiber which is going to help

Question:
My WHOLE life my parents have taught me the philosophy that to stay healthy and skinny, you should burn off the equal amount of calories you take in every day. My whole family (mom, dad, brother and me) are all really skinny. I’m 5’8” and 132. I grew up on a Vegan diet and rarely ate anything containing any fat in it. (pretty much I resented working out so I tended to eat only non-caloric foods so I could workout less).

Now in college all my friends tell me this is a very very bad way to live. But I’ve done it for 21 years and I’m attractive, healthy as a horse and very athletic. So… what’s the right way?
I’m not trying to diet, at all. I don’t need to loose any weight. My question is whether or not it’s unhealthy to live the way I grew up.

Question:
i plan on going on the raw foods diet. what are some good recipes for seaweed wraps, or any raw food really. also if you have done the master cleanse, please, do tell.
