I would prefer to buy it pre-made. If I have to make it, I want the dough to come out the same way as the regular puff pastry dough, without the egg or butter ingredients, so I need to know what substitutes would work as well. I have checked the Trader Joe’s website, but didn’t find it. Are there other vegan stores around the Detroit Metropolitan area that I can call?

I would really like to decorate/paint easter eggs this year, but would rather not use real eggs. Does anyone know where/how I could subsitute real eggs with fake [but colorable] ‘eggs’?
