Question:
Ok, I’m a part-time makeup artist and in a few weeks I am doing a bridal makeover. This afternoon I went to visit the bride to be and got all my stuff out and when it came to putting on the makeup she wanted to know if the makeup & brushes contained any animal ingredients and were the brushes made of animal hair because according to her she wont allow any of my makeup or brushes near her unless its all vegetarian/vegan approved???? Ok I use synthetic brushes at home but their for my personal use, for professional use I have MAC which are the best but this lady is kicking up a fuss. What does Islam have to say about animal hair brushes? I mean their made of squirrel, pony hair. I’m thinking of cancelling this job even though I badly need the money.
Whats na-pak?
Question:
I’m a relatively new vegan (New Years 2007), and have pretty much done the research regarding both food and clothing.
What I’m not too familiar with are the best vegan friendly options for hair and skin care. In everyone’s opinion, which products are the best to buy? Thanks in advance for suggestions!

Question:
I need some good quality and low priced makeup brushes. I found a really good set but it’s made from the following animal hair: Goat/Pony/Sable/Raccoon/Taklon
What do they do to aquire the hair for the brushes? Do they kill them?
Also, where can I get VEGAN brushes for a good price? I really don’t want to have to settle for this brush set

This is a delicious and unique flavored vegan soup that has origins in North Africa and the Northeast African Highlands section. It is a bit more trouble than my favorite “dump it all in one pot and cook”, soups, but well worth it!

1 cup dried split peas
3 cups water
