In The Supreme Master Ching Hai International Association News from Australia… The TreadLightly Envirofest in Hobart, Tasmania was held for the third year at the picturesque Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens. It is a popular event to promote living with a low carbon footprint. Our Association members hosted a booth and shared DVDs about the importance of adopting a low-emissions vegan diet to save our planet. They also offered complimentary animal-free snacks, such as plant-based sausage rolls, veggie patties and dumplings. WIN TV, one of the main TV stations in Tasmania, featured an interview with one of our Association members on the evening news. Kudos, TreadLightly Envirofest, for helping to raise awareness about eco-protecting choices. Many thanks, WIN TV, for broadcasting this good news. May more adopt the best option for safeguarding our precious Earth — the vegan lifestyle.
