what does 10 gram jar mean? like 10 jars? and whta if i dont want the colors they pick.. how can i tell them i want a diff color?

Question:
I’ve been searching every database I could find and while they do not have animal products nor are they tested on animals I just can’t find information on whether their makeup contains concerning substances. I’m not one of the people who shrieks and runs from anything called chemical but I am aware that many cosmetics companies put stuff in their makeup that has been linked to cancer and various other problems. Still, I really like Manic Panic’s makeup since I can’t seem to find much glittery eyeshadow truly cruelty free stuff that is vegan but I guess I could just stick with eyeliner and maybe once I have time mix some eye glitter with eyeshadow or something.
Well, Manic Panic has been certified by Peta as cruelty free and vegan and the owners are vegans so it probably is cruelty free and vegan though it’s the chemicals in it that I am concerned about.

My little sister adores playing with my makeup, and I’d like to get her own palette for her and was thinking of getting the one with 88 colors that Coastal Scent sells. She’s been using my Urban Decay shadows from their vegan line, but I don’t want to shell out all the money for them just for her to play around with. Are the Coastal Scents eyeshadow palettes of decent quality? Do they use animal by-products in their makeup? (A lot of makeup lines do) I want to make sure I’m giving her something that won’t cause any irritation. She’s 8.
