It can be substituted for sugar in most recipes. Agave is sweeter than sugar, so generally 2/3 cups of agave replace 1 cup of sugar. Experiment to taste. Madhava Organic Light Agave Nectar- 46 Oz Bottle- Vegan, Vegetarian Sweetener- Honey, Sugar, Syrup Substitute

Question:
I went to whole foods and maple syrup was 12 dollars! I found vegan pancakes for only 3 or 4 dollars. I thought that was too much, 12 dollars for organic maple syrup. So I’m wondering now, how much will maple syrup be at a regular grocery store like walmart?
Mmm sweetpea, maybe you’re right lol I might go ahead and spend 12 bucks on that little bottle
Question:
I want to make a raw recipe from a cooked food recipe which requires 1 Cup of sugar. How much lucuma powder or agave syrup should I use.
I am looking at vegan recipes which contain sugar, and I don’t want to use sugar. I know that a lot of people are using agave syrup, but I don’t know how to convert sugar amounts to agave syrup amounts — I mean, how does the sweetness compare (I understand about reducing the liquid). I am also interested in lucuma powder (seems to be the new agave), and how to convert recipes using agave syrup to lucuma powder.

Question:
I’ve usually been getting iced white choc mocha with soy milk, but I have a feeling that the syrup they use contains milk… Does anyone know for sure? I have checked their website but it doesn’t show ingredients… Thanks!
