Question:
it sits in my shower hanging, theres 4 other ppl that have showers daily in there, so its always moist.

i just got rid of another loofa, i had it for 8 months. no fungus. but it was your average loofa youd get from walmart.

and so no the new one i thought it be good to get because its environmentally friendly and disintegrates (cos loofa is a vegetable) so you can throw it in your compost when your finished with it… never on the label did it say MUST KEEP COMPLETELY DRY WHEN NOT USING OR WILL GROW MOLD.

theres red and green and black random spots on it, like the size of a ladybug. and im pretty sure its has a foul odour when i took a closer look at the spots.

the only reason im not sure it’s mold is that other ppl go in the shower and sometimes use other ppls stuff. so someone might have gotten make up on it? makeup that cant get off.. i dunno think im going to get rid of it

MOLD OR NOT? WHAT DO YOU THINK?
I ALSO JUST GOT IT 4 DAYS AGO AND ONLY HAD A SHOWER USING IT TWICE

Question:
My doctor suggested that I take them, but I’m a vegan and am really not wanting to…….

I am very, very careful to stick to a vegan diet and only use vegan cosmetic and hair products, and wear vegan clothes. I’m 17 & have been a vegan for almost a year and was a vegetarian for six years prior to that.

Do you it would be ok to take them? Are fish hurt in the process of getting them?
She recommended the fish oil because I have grief-induced depression that isn’t serious enough to warrant taking any antidepressants, but needs to be treated, and apparently fish oil is very helpful for easing depression symptoms in teens. I have no clue if that’s true of adults, too, or just us.

Does anyone know if Flaxseed offers the same benefits?

Thx everyone for answering. : )
And sorry for sounding moronic in asking if the fish got hurt. I was hoping that after they’d been caught and used for other purposes – such as food – that the oil would be taken rather than them being killed specifically for the oil. I didn’t realize the oil comes in gelatin capsules.

Question:
Suppose that this person adopted a vegetarian/vegan diet for reasons such as personal health or environmental impact, yet had absolutely no problems going on a hunting or fishing trip or wearing wool or leather clothes or using animal-tested products.

Would this person still be accepted in an active vegetarian/vegan community?

Would this person be treated any differently by other vegetarians/vegans, or even omnivores for that matter?

Question:
I am a 16 year old girl, and i am vegan. I have been a vegetarian ever sense i was 4 (When i learned that i was eating meet, which horrified me) and for the past year i have been vegan. My family has never been supportive of me being vegetarian or vegan, and my friends haven’t either.
For example, i can’t go get ice cream on a date with a guy, or have pizza with friends. If you had a friend like me, what would you think? Would you think that she is weird?
Question:
I am very supportive of animals rights causes, I donate as much money as I can to animal rights organisations every year. But there is something that irks about the other members and it’s the fact that most of them (even if they don’t say it out right) seem to believe that all animals evolved on a vegan diet. Some of the other members feed their cats and dogs tofu and soy milk, because they swear they are naturally vegetarians. I am never going to feed my dogs soy or tofu or anything else like that. I try my best to feed them what their close relatives, the wolf would eat in the wild.
What about sharks? Are sharks vegetarians? Should we be dropping tonnes of tofu into the ocean so they can be on a vegan diet? Or what about lions and tigers? Should we go out into the fields of Africa and leave tofu blocks for them to eat? It’s just ridiculous to say that all animals, or that even any carnivore evolved as a vegetarian.
Question:
No one is vegan and it pisses me off. There are no meals at resturants that are vegan and i have to shop at fucking health stores to buy bread.
