Question:I have been a vegetarian for almost three years now and i’m just realizing all the animal product still in the things I use daily. I’m only 14 and my mom and sister aren’t vegetarian so I don’t know how to go about this and try to convince my mom to buy soy milk, butter, etc. I’m doing research on makeup and bath stuff that isn’t expensive but vegan. I can’t find much does anyone know any? Drugstore makeup usually contains calamine (I think that’s crushed bugs) which disgusts me. I personally use Burt’s bees but even that has bees wax….which doesn’t bother me as much because no one actually dies and there products are considered natural. I’m horrified at the fact my every day lotion was consider a 9 out of ten risk and when tested on animals caused severe disabilities…think about prolong use on my own body. I just need suggestions and I understand not everyone thinks this way. I know all my friends besides one eats meat and could care less, I would rather do what I cn to help this earth.
