Unfortunately, there is a demand for both rabbit fur and rabbit meat in the population. As a result, rabbits are hunted down, confined, shocked and numbed and hung upside down. Many are fully conscious when their throats are slit and can feel their blood and life drained away from them. Their fur is then peeled away from their body, and the last of the rabbit is sold for meat. It is truly shocking how as humans we exploit all parts of an animal from body to meat to fur to bones, until the last respect for life is gone from the human eyes. We need to remember our loving essence once again and remember that we are all part of one Earth, beautifying it in all its glory.
