This is another clip from one of my classes that I taught at Colorado Free University. I talk about why I got started in the raw vegan lifestyle and some of the reasons we were meant to eat a raw vegan diet. I hope you learn something from it and enjoy it.

Question:
I love peacocks and saw some feathers at a crafts store, but if the animal was hurt in the process of getting them I wouldn’t want to buy them. I’m a vegan and a huge animal lover.

I know this seems like a random question, but I’d appreciate answers….

Thx in adv. : )
LA: Why is it supposed to bring you bad luck? They are green, and green is the color of luck……
I’m curious about this now! : )

This is a response to my friend Les’s response video.

Question:
I was in the middle of transitioning to the vegan lifestyle when I got pregnant. But when I got pregnant I got horrible morning sickness and just basically ate what I could get down…most of which was not vegan. I have been vegan before but never had the werewithal to stick with it. But I feel horrible with what I am eating now and I know it’s not healthy. I am at the end of my first trimester and am feeling much better. My midwife is entirely supportive and actually thinks it is a good idea since I am overweight. But I want to know someone else has done this successfully and safetly. Thanks.
Question:
I am 18 weeks pregnant and a vegan. I take a prenatal vitamin every day but of course I make sure I eat very healthy. I usually have avocado spread on mutli-grain toast and a glass of fortified soymilk for breakfast and some fruit. For lunch and dinner I make sure to get lots of protein and veggies. I always have a light salad along with dinner.
What were some things you ate during your vegan pregnancy?
**Just FYI, anyone who tells me my diet is not healthy, my baby is going to die, blah blah, you are wrong. I know lots of vegans who have had succesful pregnancies and my OB is 100% supportive of me. I have also seen a nutritionist.
