Question:
The March issue of Vegetarian Times has an article about raw diets, along with some great recipes (including Live Chocolate Mousse – yum!). I’ve listed the link to their website below.
Banana’s – just peel and eat
Orange – same as banana
Apple – just eat it
Dates – pit and eat yummy
Walnuts – just pop a few in your mouth
See eating raw is simple and easy no dehydrator or fancy blender required!
I’d recommend checking your library for any recipe books or just google for recipes. I did a raw food diet for about a month (I was already a vegan for a year before that) and it was harder than anticipated! But very rewarding. Nuts are very filling if you start to feel like your not getting satisfied. Also cutting up zucchini in very thin slices is a fun substitute for pasta. There are good tomato soup recipes out there that are something to the effect of blending up several tomatoes with avocado, water, and spices- very tasty!
