Question:
I will be the only person in my family eating raw. What would be the most practical book? Also practical recipes. not like fancy restaurant food.

  1. I agree with C, Raw Food Made Easy for 1 or 2 People gets so many recommendations. It’s popular both among the raw sites I frequent and the local natural health store I visit.

  2. Instant Raw Sensations by Frederic Patenaude or Savory Veggie Stews by Roger Haeske.

  3. This is the best one: http://www.amazon.com/Raw-Food-Made-Easy-People/dp/1570671753/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1260742891&sr=8-3

Raw Food Made Easy for 1 or 2 People. Not only are the recipe meal sizes small, they also don’t use a lot of expensive equipment that other “cookbooks” do. There is no dehydrator or high powered blender necessary. It looks pretty shady and from the 80s, but the recipes are good.

    Another good one is: http://www.amazon.com/Anis-Raw-Food-Kitchen-Delectable/dp/1600940005/ref=pd_sim_b_5

Ani’s Raw Food Kitchen has equally small recipes and simple procedures, though I don’t like the rampant pictures of herself personally.

    Hope that helps!

  4. Hi Annalise, “The Carrot and I” by Bugs Bunny. :)
Only joking here is a site that has free recipes and ebooks that you could check out.
I hope it helps. Sorry about the terrible joke I just couldn’t resist it. All the best. Rab
