Who is proud of being vegetarian/Vegan and why?
Question:who’s proud of being vegetarian, or vegan?
Ignore the rude remarks well probably have to endure.
I am because, well we eat what we preach.

i’m proud to be a VEGAN because i know i’m not one of the millions of ignorant people in the world who contribute to animal suffering. I’m proud to know that i’m doing my part to help the cause i believe in.

I am vegan.
I am vegetarian because I don’t want to eat the flesh of another being.
I am vegan because I think factory farms are wrong.

I might eat what I preach, but I certainly don’t preach what I eat.
I’m not proud. It’s just my life and my choice. I didn’t work hard to eat what I do and live like I do… I think the concept of pride is often misconstrued.

pride’s a sin.
i’m a vegan for functional purposes… my health…. to be a honest to god vegan i’d have to move to another planet that doesn’t use animal product as the basic chemical foundation for most things.
IE: consumer products, clothing, food additives, processed foods, medicines, energy sources and more.
sorry, even most vegan products (even properly labeled for some reason..) aren’t 100% vegan. (read the labels, how it was packaged and the packaging aren’t vegan also.)
blame the miracles of the atomic age and industry and that essential “shelf life” that we aimed so hard to get.

I feel pride that I am a vegetarian. It’s not a rude pride that I go around announcing to everyone. I’m just happy that no animals have to die in order for me to eat!

I am not proud of it, I don’t really do that much. I am still destroying the planet and causing animals to die just like everyone else, though I try and do it a bit less though I am not perfect and never will be. I am proud that I can say I don’t follow the crowd and I think and act for myself but that is about it. If you help someone with their grocery bags or give a neighbor a cup of flour, should you then get some sort of recognition and be so proud of it when you were just doing something pretty normal. It’s just one of those things you do and it can be good your doing it but it’s not something that should swell pride because that can swell your head and give you ego which we all have including myself.
Should someone be proud because they are white? or other race? That stuff only ends up horribly it is about teaching understanding that yes we do have different diets and we can all learn from each other and try and teach each other new things without acting a fool!
Just live love and eat!
Though I must say I am proud of my ability to seem to find soy milk in the TJ’s dumpster but that is because capitalism is quite wasteful, if they would give the stuff away and not throw it away people would be better off not having to dig through garbage!

I’m very proud of myself for being Vegetarian
The reason is because so many animals are being mistreated in this world!
Either it be within the Slaughter Houses or Factories WHATEVER
by taking this action it Shows that your against it and can prove that slaughter houses and the mistreatment of animals is not OK!
Not just for the animals though
being selfish (kinda)
its great just for you individualy because you being sustainable, eco friendly, and HEALTHY at that
being vegetarian has more up then downs
opposed to big red meat eaters that have many high risks

WHOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!
No animals enter my body.
It feels morally-right.
I lost about twenty pounds.
TOFU IS DELICIOUS!!!
My friends burn out of energy before I start to warm-up.
No more acne even though I eat a ton of peanut butter (I use to eat the same amount of peanut butter back then).
Creative recipes.
Soymilk is delicious!!!
Chicks dig it!
Adaptable.
Healthier.
I think it does everything really. It turned my life around in the completely opposite way and I love it. Without it, I wouldn’t have met and befriended someone dear to me and I would have been an IRS agent rather than studying botany.

I’m not so convinced its a pride issue as much as a health issue. The word “proud” suggests disdain for other people who do not act the same as you. Other people should be allowed to eat meet.
I am not a true Vegan or Vegetarian. In the summer months, I avoid meat, just because it makes me feel better. I have more energy and I sleep well. But I’m neither proud of this, not do I try to make others feel badly for eating the way they do.
